Once upon a time, a poor widow lived with her only son, Jack. One day, the mother sent Jack to sell their cow in the market. On that day, a man asked Jack, "Do you want the magic bean in exchange for the cow?". Jack took the bean and came back home. The angry mother threw the beans out of the window.

That night, the bean grew into a giant beanstalk. Jack climbed the beanstalk and reached a kingdom ruled by a cruel giant. He stole a bag of gold, the hen that laid golden eggs, and a harp before the giant started chasing him. Jack climbed down the beanstalk and chopped it with an axe.

The giant crushed on the ground and died. Jack's life changed completely in the days that followed. He was no longer a poor boy, but he never forgot his experience of poverty and always helped those in need.
